Bridge projects topics of two public meetings.(Capital Region)

Public meetings on two Saratoga County bridge projects are planned later this month by the state Department of Transportation:

An open house for the Route 67 bridge project proposed for the Hudson River Crossing between Mechanicville and Schaghticoke will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at the Mechanicville Senior Citizen Center, 178 N. Main St.

Construction would start in spring 2008 and end that fall. Work would include repainting, replacing the concrete bridge deck and improving the rail, concrete piers and steel elements.
